Wessel's mom, who also lives in Langebaan, didn't know we were coming for a visit. Charlotte met us there, and as soon as mom was ready, we walked in. Tears and smiles and smiles and tears! She was very happy to see us and I could see that she could hardly believe it. 🙌
We had tea (more of the lovely milk tart) and lunch with her - Charlotte really spoilt us with soup for starters and a chicken dish with rice. It was good to see mom looking so sprightly still and we heard all about live at Gerimed.
After lunch, we took a drive to the West Coast National Park. Sometimes it is necessary to not only look at the big picture, but zoom in a bit to see all the detail.

Wessel made us a lovely supper and we had Kloovenburg Sparkling Rosé as the wine pairing.
