The farm Gannabos where we are staying, owned by Merwe and Nakkie van Wyk, is also home to the well known quiver tree forest in the area.
So to round off an already wonderful day, we stopped to enjoy the beautiful sunset and quiver trees.

Back at the house, we warmed the soup (really tasty and salty enough!) and then Wessel went out to do some star trail photography. You should be able to see the evidence of that on his Facebook page once we are back home.
PS: I've been meaning to do this earlier, but I must give a shout out to the iPhone 13 Pro camera - the quality is astounding! This is not a case of my-phone-is-better-than-yours, just honest excitement about what I am able to achieve with only the camera on my phone. 💫
